Event Integrity Task Force (EITF) has launched its first session with founding leadership members. The mission of EITF is to empower and elevate event professionals with community, collaboration, and initiatives to help them reach peak performance.

The belief is that by working together, the event industry can solve great challenges by identifying and discussing them. The end goals of each session are to have actionable insights and recommended steps event pros can take to raise the industry standard.

Each session lasts eight weeks and incorporates a simple process to engage Task Force members, event venues and vendors, and the event industry at large. When the session launches, a baseline is obtained with the EITF leadership members to brainstorm questions and set an agenda for the Docket.

An online meeting known as a ‘Docket call’ is then scheduled and shared with the public to save the date so they can participate in the closing conversation. Then, EITF leadership, Event Integrity and Event Industry News, disseminate a specialised questionnaire focusing on specific topics to gather additional insight from industry professionals and the public. The results are aggregated, and the solutions mastermind period begins.

During this period, EITF leaders brainstorm ideas and solutions related to content obtained in the questionnaires. During the Docket call, EITF leaders discuss findings and determine next steps. The solutions proposed by EITF, based on data-driven discussions, are published by Event Integrity and Event Industry News as well as being shared across many other channels.

“I’m excited to help event pros unite because we succeed or fail together. You only grow via shared success in this industry,” Adrienne Gardner, president of TGE Events and EITF’s sales president.

To join the conversation, become an Event Integrity community member by taking the Pledge for a free basic profile and access to the discussions. Applications for Event Integrity Task Force leadership positions are still open for those who are interested in playing a larger role in elevating the industry.
