It’s all smiles in the Event Genius office after their cashless payment system – Event Genius Pay – took home the award for Best Sales Technology at the Event Tech Awards after twelve months of successful event deliveries and new feature releases including mobile top-ups and an enhanced self-serve reporting suite. The win follows up being named Best Ticketing Provider earlier in the year (Event Production Awards) and is also the second award win for Event Genius Pay specifically after picking up the Innovation award at the Ticketing Business Awards in 2018.

The technology has been a focus for the company over the past two years, with 2019 recording more than double the amount of event deliveries in 2018, and more than double this number again already booked in for 2020. This growth represents a significant level of trust which the company has developed over years of successful deployments working alongside the likes of Annie Mac’s Lost & Found Festival (Malta), BPM Festival (Portugal), Forbidden Forest (United Kingdom), Chelmsford Racecourse (United Kingdom) and many more.

Lauren Lytle (Head of Operations, Event Genius) commented: “This summer has been a landmark season for our teams with more events than ever before and a string of new features and functionality to deliver to sites all across the world. It’s an honour to win this award and really we have to dedicate it to the incredibly hard working teams on the ground and in the office making the tech what it has become. It’s a real team effort.”

The win also marked the first award win for the company since being acquired by Festicket. Check out their new video below to get to grips with the new Event Genius by Festicket offering.
