Engage by D2i Systems was voted “Best Event Management Platform” and “Best Sales Technology” at the Event Tech Awards, retaining the title of Best Event Management Platform for second consecutive year.

D2i’s award submissions were based on their work with the Royal Horticultural Society, UCAS, Messe Frankfurt Middle East and the Farnborough International Airshow. D2i have pushed the envelope to provide event tech solutions that radically improve how these companies operate, helping to increase revenue and improve the operational efficiency of delivering complex events.

Matt Blain, CEO of D2i Systems, commented, “Winning two categories is a phenomenal achievement for our business and reflects how Engage has transformed the operations of our clients since launching in 2016”.

Engage was designed to operate an entire event sector business independently, a key factor of its success. Engage uses an event sector CRM|ERP core that powers process modules created to speak the language of events, working in harmony to provide brilliant levels of business intelligence and automation. Teams from sales, marketing, operations and finance departments work within the same platform providing countless benefits to the business when compared to working with separate systems that aren’t designed to meet the demands of delivering events.

Engage has become the “data cornerstone” of a connected customer community, making vital intelligence captured during the events cycle available to each organisation. The requirement for event tech solutions to be integrated with other systems is not new. Unfortunately the utopian vision of creating a single customer view, driven by event data, is rarely achieved due to the sheer complexity of integrating event specific systems with third-party platforms. D2i have achieved success in this area because it is a specialist event sector software house with over a decade of experience. D2i have created bespoke tools within Engage and integrated the platform with the wider IT infrastructure, providing valuable insight into the behavioural patterns of visitors and commercial partners to be shared across an organisation. Engage is helping our customers better understand their communities and how to best serve them in the future.

Matthew Wilson, Sales & Marketing Director at D2i, commented, “We’ve certainly set the bar very high for Engage and the D2i team to continue providing the best event technology platform to new and existing customers to retain the title of Best Event Management Platform for third year in 2019. No pressure!”
