EEF Venue’s Woodland Grange property has achieved IACC certification and become a member of the globally respected meetings and events association, representing the top 1% of meeting venues globally.

IACC has 300 members in 26 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia & Australia Pacific and has become a centre of excellence for learning and development, benchmarking and sustainability for conference centres and venues around the world. The organisation is also one of the most forward-thinking communities in the international events industry and regular hosts networking and sharing opportunities for members; one of the reasons why EEF Venues was keen to join.

EEF Venues Managing Director, David Vaughton commented: “This is all about expanding our knowledge and relationships beyond the UK, looking for new business opportunities, benchmarking our product, networking with other like-minded businesses, and tapping into the association’s excellent educational programme. To be part of IACC is real feather in our cap and we join some incredibly well respected and high performing businesses. We’re genuinely proud to be part of IACC’s global family of leading venues, and look forward to the substantial benefits it delivers.”

Mark Cooper, IACC’s CEO commented: “EEF Venues has demonstrated unequivocally that it is totally committed to delivering the IACC Meetings Experience and I am confident it will be a valuable member of the association. By conforming to our global quality standards, Woodland Grange has become a venue that meeting planners can confidently trust to look after their meeting.”

To achieve IACC certification, venue members must demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards in design, facilities, services, technology and sustainability. IACC members understand the importance of each of these elements in a successful meeting – and those who use IACC venues expect excellence. This exclusiveness makes IACC’s members part of an elite group representing the most innovative, forward-thinking and results-driven meeting venues in the world.
