EEF Venues has appointed a group sales executive to support the strategic growth of the group’s three venues; Broadway House in Westminster, Woodland Grange in Leamington Spa and Engineers’ House in Bristol.

With a strong background in hotel and venue sales, Lauren Stephenson now reports to Anna Poole, EEF Venues’ national sales manager, to drive business across all three venues.

The group’s 2018 advance orders are already 25% ahead of the corresponding point last year and EEF Venues is budgeting 4.5% growth for 2018, with the aspiration to break £7 million turnover across the group this year.

David Vaughton, managing director of EEF Venues, said: “This latest investment in our sales is part of our on-going commitment to building long and lasting relationships with our clients. The collaborative approach we take – from sales right through to operations – starts at the enquiry stage and goes right through to post event.

“Lauren is a welcome addition to the team as we believe that having warm and engaging people is vital to ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience at our three venues.”

Lauren Stephenson said: “I am relishing the challenge of supporting the growth of EEF Venues. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, and I already feel part of the family. It’s fantastic to work with a small group that has achieved so much to date and I look forward to supporting EEF Venues’ on-going business development goals.”
