The East of England Arena and Event Centre (EEAEC) has announced the arrival of a brand-new kind of fitness show, with the arrival of High Intensity Live on June 29 2019.

Organised by Matt Weston of Empire Gyms, High Intensity Live will be an indoor event, bringing together leading High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) brands to create a one-day endurance and fitness challenge, the equal of any mud run or obstacle course.

Weston explained how the event was first conceived, saying, “We’ve followed and delivered a broad variety of HIIT products over the years, and it’s always struck me that these brands attract a huge amount of loyalty from their fans. We saw an appetite for a one-day endurance event based on high intensity training, bringing all the leading training brands together in a richly motivational environment with DJs, top-flight sound systems and well-known instructors.”

High Intensity Live will feature eight disciplines from old favourites to new sensations, including Les Mills SPRINT Cycle, Les Mills GRIT, Insanity Live, P90X Live, Metafit, HIITSTEP, Totally Shredded Drum and Bass and Totally Shredded HIIT House.

Jason Lunn, EEAEC venue director, was pleased to welcome the new event to East of England Arena, saying “I’m delighted that High Intensity Live has chosen us for their unique show and we are all looking forward to helping deliver a stand-out event in June. High Intensity Live adds a new class of event to the burgeoning variety that have selected East of England Arena as their preferred venue.”
