East of England Arena and Events Centre (EEAEC) has announced it has been chosen as one of the UK venues for the country’s only touring contemporary cheese festival, Cheese Fest, which will be at the venue on November 10, 2018.

As the latest in a series of food show wins for the EEAEC, Cheese Fest will be exhibiting more than 140 different cheeses from producers and vendors around the world, and will feature food outlets offering hot and cold cheese dishes and drinks to accompany what some consider to be the king of foods.

“Food shows feel at home at the Arena,” explained Dean Rees, business development manager, “we’re situated in the heart of a major agricultural region, so we’re no stranger to food and produce shows. We’re seeing more and more specialised shows, of which Cheese Fest is a great example, that are aimed at specific but incredibly dedicated audiences. And there are people out there who really love cheese! I have no doubt it’s going to be a popular event.”

A spokesperson for Cheese Fest organisers said, “With its agricultural heritage and a great mix of facilities, the EEAEC proved to be the ideal venue for this event. Access via the road and rail network is excellent and, with essentially unlimited parking, the venue offers an unbeatable set of features backed up by a knowledgeable and capable team.”

Cheese Fest is currently scheduled to appear at East of England Arena and Events Centre on November 10, in Edinburgh on November 17 and in Manchester on February 16th next year.
