The East of England Arena and Events Centre has appointed Charley Perkins to the position of account manager, where her role will be to manage a portfolio of accounts ranging from conferences and exhibitions through to live events.
East of England’s general manager, Jason Lunn, commented, “Charley was a stand out candidate, confident and articulate, and she has already proven herself by taking the reins of some significant events. Her attention to detail and excellent customer service focus has been a great addition to our venue team.”
Perkins joins the venue after studying at the Northern Film School where she specialised in production. The course included the organisation of a portfolio of events -a useful experience, as she explained, “The position at the East of England Arena allows me be to bring the skills and knowledge I have gained into a commercial, client facing, role.
“We have a very team-centric operation at the venue, it is important that every one works together and that they are capable of carrying out their own roles with the lightest of managerial touches. I am delighted that Charley has added to the team and is already delivering outstanding client experiences,” added Lunn.
