The East of England Arena and Events Centre (EEAEC) has announced that it has secured Jools Holland and His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra for one date on its Autumn UK tour on October 26 2019. The band is only the latest in a line-up of international performers and artists, including Bill Bailey, Brian Cox and John Bishop, that have chosen the venue for their respective tours.

The venue is expecting a full house, as Jason Lunn, venue director, EEAEC, explained, “Jools Holland’s extraordinary profile and career has won him legions of fans, many of whom are within reach of the Arena. We’re increasingly seeing promoters and organisers of acts like this recognising the benefits of our venue like our central location, free parking and easy access to rail and bus links.”

The EEAEC, also a favourite of vehicle and large equipment exhibitions, has increasingly been attracting leading acts. Playing either in the main arena building or at one of the many music and food festivals that are choosing the venue for its outdoor facilities, these acts are now forming a year round schedule of concerts and shows threaded in-between the exhibitions and conferences.
