Creative communications agency, drp, ended their year on a high on Friday 21st December with the Christmas Conference, anything’s possible awards and after show party for all 280 team members. The event was held at the groups 212 studios in Worcestershire.

“2018 has been an incredible year with 47.6% growth, sales increasing to over £31.5M, we’ve also recruited 82 new team members, 21 new clients, the acquisition of HMX communications, over 30 industry award wins and 33 completed CSR projects. I am very much looking forward to 2019 and all the new opportunities and collaborations this year will bring” says CEO, Dale Parmenter.

For the conference, all three studios, were themed to replicate the aura of “The Greatest Showman”, with the 2-hour plenary session in studio 1, where the board took a look back on 2018 and a sneak view into 2019 and beyond. A drink’s reception was held in the foyer, which was dressed with circus artists and a singer suspended in a 3m bird cage above the bar. The team then travelled along a 50m tunnel, which had the year in photographs. This then led into Studio 3, where the replica Greatest Showman stage set was created.

Lunch commenced with the “anything’s possible” awards. The winners are chosen by the team in the lead up to the conference, with the climax being the ‘Anything’s Possible Team Member of the Year’, which was won by producer, Richard Davies winning a trip for two to Singapore. Following lunch and entertainment everyone was invited into studio 1, 2 and the foyer for the after-show party and celebrations.

During the afternoon the company bonus was revealed, which was a record amount, in which every team member share and is given their figure during the celebrations.
