The Ideal Home Show is in full swing at London’s prestigious Olympia venue, with DB Systems proud to be the official supplier of AV & IT technology. Supplying a wide range of audio-visual solutions to the show organisers Media 10 Ltd, as well as a number of exhibitors; DB Systems’ focus is on delivering the best products for the job, whilst providing an unparalleled level of outstanding customer service.
Amy Turner, Show Coordinator for the Ideal Home Show commented: “The quality of service we experience from a supplier and their flexibility to adapt is imperative. With such a big show, there are often several changes throughout the three weeks of being open, so it’s essential for us to have a tech team on standby with
the experience and equipment to help with these changes. DB Systems become part of the team at our shows and we rely on them heavily to make sure all features in kept up to the high standard throughout the duration of the show.”
DB Systems Key Account Manager Shaun Roberts discussed the AV equipment being used at The Ideal Home Show: “We’re looking after two theatres, the Super Theatre on the ground floor, and the Feel-Good Theatre on the upper floor of Olympia. Both areas are kitted out with screens and PA systems, and are set up as professional seminar theatres, with a dedicated AV technician for each area. Additionally, there are several other screens around the venue, as well as various PA systems playing music, to enhance the atmosphere of the show.”
Amy added: “At the Ideal Home Show the visitor’s experience and enjoyment of the show is paramount. Technology is a key ingredient of the show, it’s important to make sure our feature areas are well lit, all performers and speakers can be heard by the audience, and the various sound systems around contribute to the show’s ambience. Screen technology is very important at the Ideal Home Show sponsor adverts as well as a live relay of stage content, and presentations.”
DB Systems will also be supplying the Ideal Home Show when it opens in Glasgow in May, as well as the Ideal Home at Christmas events.
