Crewsaders the crewing and staffing company that provides services to the corporate events and meetings industry is celebrating 10 years in business. From its small beginnings in Birmingham in 2008, the company has grown into a national company with offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London Manchester and Scotland employing over 400 permanent staff and freelancers. To celebrate their 10th Anniversary, Crewsaders are inviting clients, colleagues, staff and suppliers to a Family Fun Day at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Fillongley, Coventry on 15th August.

Company founder Jeremey Berryman is “grateful to the long lasting client relationships that have propelled and sustained the company into being one of the leading crewing and staffing companies in the United Kingdom”. He said “our company’s reputation and track record has been largely built on trust to deliver the very best in onsite support to our clients at all sorts of events in the UK and in Europe. But resting on our laurels is not enough to keep pace with the competitive environment in our sector. Continual improvement of work flow processes and the training and duty of care to our staff is an on-going work in progress”.

For example, the company has invested a significant amount in improving human resource management processes. With improved training programmes for new and existing staff to refining the recruitment processes, they are aiming to provide clients with the best possible on-site outcomes. The company is continually investing in internal management systems, client relationship management and web based applications for clients and crew through their digital transformation programme.

“Investing in the future is important for us” states Berryman. This investment is paying off in many ways, including being shortlisted in the Event Technology Awards 2018, in the Best Event Management System category. “In perusing a better future for our company, staff and clients we are embracing new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence to develop better systems that can learn and provide real-time services based on our clients preferences and future demands”.
