Leading global exhibition design and management company, Cook & Associates, successfully delivered eleven major projects during the recent Farnborough Air Show, fielding a team of over 100 staff on site. The 70th Farnborough Air Show is one of 22 aerospace and aviation events annually supported by Cook & Associates, with clients including Boeing Aerospace, Qatar Airways, FLIR, Spirit AeroSystems, Ultra Electronics, Crane Aerospace and Electronics, and MOOG, reflecting Cook & Associates’ 25-year track record in this sector.

The Farnborough activity spanned a total of 4 luxury chalets, 5 large-scale exhibition stands, and 2 static displays, involving some 56 days’ construction time overall. The 2018 air show attracted over 100,000 visitors across a 7- day period.

Ultra Electronics is a specialist British company that serves the defence, security, transport and energy industries. Josie Breen, Group Marketing & Communications Manager, explained the role that Cook & Associates plays in its exhibition strategy:

“We’ve worked with Cook & Associates for several years now and always found them to be reliable and helpful – they can’t do enough for us, and always go above and beyond what we ask of them. From the very beginning of working with them, we have always had a dedicated project team who see the project through end to end. They understand what we are trying to achieve from our shows. In fact, they know what we need before we even need it! I can’t fault them, they are amazing to work with.”

Alternating with the Paris Air Show each year, the Farnborough Air Show represents one of the most prestigious aviation events in the annual show calendar. For the Cook & Associates team, it is the mid-point of an action- packed aviation and aerospace event schedule that typically kicks off with Kuwait Aviation Show and closes with MEBAA, supporting over 63 projects, for 23 clients in 10 countries.

Managing Director Kim Bradbury expands: “The aviation and aerospace sector has been a core focus for us throughout our 25-year history, and today Cook & Associates is without doubt one of the premier partners for businesses on the international exhibition stage. We have a track record for excellence at every level, which is reflected in the long-standing relationships we maintain with our blue chip client base. Dedicated project managers, local team expertise around the globe, and a commitment to delivering excellent results every time underpin our success.”
