Watch the video to see Matt Coyne, commercial director at GES, introduce the integration of their Visit and Poken technologies to “connect the digital and physical of the event world.”
Visit by GES has relaunched its product infrastructure, which has enabled the business to grow its R&D team, create a new product team and focus the customer service team on delivering a consistent approach to client delivery, globally.
Visit has embedded NFC chips within visitors’ badges, allowing them to collect content from stands and the show floor with a simple tap, ensuring 100% adoption from the audience. The badge acts as a “digital briefcase”, collecting content from exhibitors and eliminating the environmental impact and hassle of overloading bags and pockets with leaflets, brochures and business cards.
Exhibitors can also gather greater insight regarding their leads and what they’re interested in, ensuring they do not miss any opportunities at the show. They are able to upload the content they have created onto the platform and share it with the visitors.
The technology also allows for a better understanding between organisers and exhibitors: organisers can monitor their events in real-time and gather useful insight. Organisers can confidently offer statistics and data to exhibitors regarding their stands and, ultimately, build better relationships with their customers.
