This week, MAN launched its vision for “simplifying business” at IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018, one of the world’s leading transportation trade fairs. The week-long Hannover based trade fair, starting on September 19th, takes place every two years and brings together experts in the transport, logistics and mobility community. Jack Morton, the global brand experience agency, partnered with MAN to create and produce a high impact press event, which explored MAN’s vision for the industry’s future. An array of national and international trade press were in attendance.
MAN’s solutions for the future of mobility were introduced to the audience with a spectacular and immersive film which tracked a shipping container from Hamburg’s harbor to the hall of the Hannover exhibition center, and on to the MAN booth. The film provided a 360 overview of the technologies developed by MAN that are currently in use and part of the strategic planning for the future. Each key topic (automation, platooning, e-mobility and sustainability) was then presented in depth by MAN’s CEO, Joachim Dress, using a dynamic and visually engaging presentation. The press conference culminated with the introduction of the CitE, a revolutionary new concept electric transportation vehicle.
The MAN IAA press conference creative concept, opening film, stage design, and content was created and produced by Jack Morton to provide MAN’s executives with a platform to showcase their vision and solutions.
Joachim Dress, CEO of MAN, said “Our partnership with Jack Morton has helped to make our IAA press conference a huge success. It has been a powerful and emotionally-driven experience at this key event in the industry calendar.” Jack Morton and MAN have partnered on a number of the brand’s events over the past three years, including their last press conference at IAA in 2016.
Jens Mayer, Managing Director at Jack Morton Worldwide, said: “MAN is a renowned name in the transport industry and we’re delighted to partner with them again for their press communication at IAA 2018. We relish the challenge to always surpass the work we’ve done in the past and create innovative ways to express the MAN brand story.”
