The fifth lecture in the University of Westminster’s autumn Event Design Lecture Series takes place on Monday 11th November. The lecture by Sarah Haywood focuses on luxury wedding and party design. Recently ranked No. 1 International Wedding Planner by US VOGUE, Sarah Haywood is one of the world’s leading party planners and event designers; sought by luminaries, public figures, and international royalty. In her session attendees will get to understand the expectations of high net worth individuals and celebrity demands for their events; how do interpret the views of multiple stakeholders in the design process and understand how to provide a unique experience in a very competitive environment by creating new intellectual property. This is a session that will truly inspire event designers.

Sarah has been described as “the ultimate insider” by The Sunday Times, “Britain’s most sought-after wedding planner and an authority on multimillion-dollar weddings” by TIME magazine, and “one of the most highly-rated wedding planners in the world” by Paris Match. Sarah was the ‘go-to’ wedding expert for the international media during the build-up to the royal wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton and she appeared live as CNN’s wedding expert for their world-wide broadcast on Royal Wedding day. From her headquarters in London, Sarah and her team work with visionary creative partners, including Royal Warrant holders, Michelin star chefs and the most exclusive hotels, venues and private properties; together they set trends rather than follow them. Their world-class weddings and parties are immersive, magical experiences, with outstanding creative design.

The Wedding Bible is the quintessential book for anyone planning a wedding or looking for luxury event inspiration. Sarah is giving away 100 FREE copies of her book – currently sold on Amazon for £40 – at the session.
