On October 16 local time, Yutong Bus held the “Delivery Ceremony of the 500th Yutong Bus in the UK” in Leeds together with Pelican engineering, a local century-old enterprise. David Sheriff, General Manager of Nova Tour (the purchaser of the 500th Yutong bus), Martijn Gilbert, General Manager of Go North East, John Welsh, General Manager of Welshs’s Coaches, Richaid Crump, General Manager of Pelican Engineering (a UK partner of Yutong Bus), Jiang Bing, deputy director of brand of Yutong Group, and Li Kejie, manager of Western Europe Region of Yutong et al attended this ceremony to witness this milestone of Yutong Bus in the UK market.
Yutong Bus ranking the third place in the UK tourist bus market with the sales volume from 0 to 500
From 2013 to 2019, the sales growth rate of Yutong buses in the UK is as high as 115%. Up to now, Yutong has sold 500 buses, after Mercedes-Benz and Volvo in term of the tourist bus market share. High-quality products and all-in-one service solutions of Yutong earn the trust from more than 200 tourist bus operators and create a well-earned image in the industry.
High-end hardcore strength reshaping the new image of “Made by Yutong”
In 2018, Yutong developed high-end T Series tourist buses ingeniously to meet the demand for high-standard products in the European market and created a new landscape in the UK market. The bus that Yutong delivered as the 500th this time is a GT12 bus of Yutong T Series, injecting new momentum into the development of Yutong Bus. Route One, an authoritative media in the UK, spoke highly of GT12 as “a world bus”.
Research in new energy making contributions to the better travel worldwide
At present, Yutong has sold more than 120,000 new energy buses worldwide which reduce carbon emissions by more than 1.1 million tons per year.
