On 30th November at the Evcom Awards, the creative agency Smyle won the 2018 Event Agency of the Year, crowning an extraordinary year. They have doubled the size of both their London and HQ offices as well as their export figures as the business grew from £16.5m to £27m turnover in one year, counting world-leading telco, consumer and media brands as key clients.

Smyle’s turnover has grown by 194% in the last three years, also sealing their place on The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 at No. 66, published yesterday (2nd December).

This is a record 5th time Smyle has won an Agency of the Year award in last 10 years, which was presented at London’s Tobacco Dock on Friday afternoon, adding momentum to Smyle’s growing prominence in the industry.

Rick Stainton, Smyle’ CEO commented, “The Agency of the Year award and Fast Track 100 place mean a huge amount to us – every member of our team are very proud of independent recognition by the industry and national press – we will celebrate our achievements this year and start 2019 with a real spring in our step, as the makers of ideas that deliver both brand experience and content that matters”.
