Media Structures, a company specialising temporary structures for events, exhibitions, festivals, venues, TV and film has worked with EFS Europe for many years, assisting with events such as Big Brother and the Hill Top Conference.

When Media Structures purchased their new head offices, a 25 acre site and former timber merchants in Redhill, Surrey, they called upon EFS to assist in the transformation of the not too glamorous building!

To give their reception area a makeover and to bring the ‘outside in’ to reflect the new office’s stunning location, Media Structures selected 82sqm of EFS’s Gaddesby 28mm Astroturf, as installed in 2017 at Microsoft’s offices in Reading.

In their catering & restaurant area, Monsor Elite American ash, wood effect vinyl was installed to keep with the provincial atmosphere. The downstairs, open plan offices also received the same flooring treatment, continuing the theme, with 325sqm of Monsor Elite being installed in total.

EFS’s Diversity, Purple Rain coloured office carpet tile was selected, in stark contrast, for the stairs and leading into the private upstairs offices and meeting room. Diversity was chosen for its suitability for heavy traffic areas, 10 year warranty, flammability certificate and also for its use with caster chairs, making it an ideal and cost effective solution for busy office locations.

For a ‘non-urban’ entrance, classic KC Coir matting in anthracite colour was installed preventing muddy boots from contaminating the stunning new office space.

Jeremy Simpson, Business Development Manager for EFS Europe said ‘We were delighted to be asked by Media Structures to assist with this exciting project. We have built up a fantastic relationship over the years, assisting them with various types of flooring across many events. The office transformation, which took just two days, is simply stunning as you can see from the photos and what a great environment to work in!’
