Creative communications agency drp’s, digital division, drpdigital, won a total of four awards at the ninth annual Digital Impact Awards, on Tuesday 16th October, at the Hilton, on Park Lane, London.

drp won gold in the ‘Best Digital Employee Communication’ category for their work with leading heating manufacturer Worcester Bosch. This was followed by silver and bronze awards for Worcester Bosch and Direct Line in the ‘Best Use of Digital in Financial Services’ and ‘Best Use of Digital in Engineering & Manufacturing’, respectively. drp ended a successful evening with a highly commended award for ‘Best Digital Communication as part of an Integrated Campaign’ with Direct Line.

This industry leading awards programme recognises excellence in communication and digital strategies in corporate organisations. The awards provided a valuable platform for honouring the best corporate digital work and the opportunity to develop current clients, increase new business and engage internal teams.

drpdigital took home gold and bronze for the ‘My Worcester app’ which was produced to completely transform the work life experience for their installers.

drpdigital created a mobile app for Worcester Bosch that revolutionised the way the company communicates with its accredited installers. The app has become a single tool for many key processes that an installer would undertake and has vastly improved efficiency and work-life experience.

As part of a UK-wide campaign, Direct Line required a solution to communicate the campaign message to its internal audience. Through gamification, drpdigital communicated this in a bespoke, branded game that encouraged friendly competition across all sites.

On the evening, Comedian, Edward Gamble, was a guest host to help present all the 36 categories on the night.

Ben Wallace, director of drpdigital commented,

“Our team aim to consistently deliver the best, most innovative, and most effective digital solutions for our clients. The two projects exceeded the objectives for, both, Worcester Bosch and the Direct Line Group. Going head-to-head with many other leading agencies on the night and coming out with four awards, really does show the high calibre of the team we have. Well done to all involved and to the other winners!”

The Digital Impact Awards has a long-standing reputation in the digital community as the leading event honouring the best corporate digital work.
