BMA House is set to welcome event professionals to EIN’s Sustainable Events Lounge – a reimaging of their annual Breakfast Briefing – on 15th April 2026. This will be the sixth consecutive year that EIN launches its Sustainable Event Guide at BMA House.
No longer just a “breakfast briefing,” the 2026 edition has been designed to inspire, educate, and energise event professionals who want to lead the change. The morning will include:
- Insightful panel discussions with sustainability leaders
- Hands on masterclasses diving deep into actionable strategies
- And, for the first time, a live sustainability hackathon
The Sustainable Events Lounge will mark the launch of the latest Sustainable Event Buyer’s Guide, an essential resource for organisers looking for insight, advice and suppliers that can help them design and deliver more sustainable events. The guide features expert content, practical tools and real-world case studies that highlight how events can deliver for both delegates and the planet.
Hosted at BMA House, the Lounge will spotlight the venue’s strong sustainability story, from its heritage building and green outside spaces to its innovative approach to food, drink and technology. Guests will enjoy a menu that highlights low waste dishes and carbon conscious choices, while also experiencing the venue’s flexible solutions, including: open plan room layouts which allow for a variety of seating and catering options, and modern eco-friendly lighting, tailored to the client’s brand. There will also be opportunities to see the latest sustainable upgrades in key event spaces, including the Great Hall.
Rebecca Hurley, Venue Marketing Manager at BMA House comments: “Sustainability sits at the core of everything we do at BMA House. It is not an add-on to our events, it guides how we operate, plan and deliver every meeting, conference and celebration. From the very first enquiry we work with clients to identify where we can reduce impact and add positive change, while still achieving their goals and staying within budget. The EIN Sustainable Events Lounge is a fantastic platform to demonstrate that mindset in action and to inspire organisers with a few spectacular sustainable surprises along the way.”
Kizzy Allott of Event Industry News adds: “To be returning for the sixth EIN launch of our guide at BMA House speaks volumes about the strength of our partnership and our shared commitment to sustainability. The Sustainable Event Buyer’s Guide has become a go-to reference for organisers who want to do better, and this event is where that community comes together. BMA House understands exactly what we are trying to achieve and we are excited to work with the team again this year to deliver a morning that is insightful, enjoyable and full of smart, sustainable ideas.”
Hurley concludes: “The EIN Sustainable Events Lounge and The Sustainable Event Buyer’s Guide give us an important opportunity to show how a historic central London venue can lead on sustainability. We are proud to continue our long-standing collaboration with Event Industry News and look forward to welcoming guests for what promises to be an engaging, informative and uplifting start to the day.”
