2017 marked the 39th meeting of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, a unique event featuring over 130 hot air balloons that can be seen flying over the city.
The Event Industry News film crew spoke with Ben Hardy, Operations Director at Richmond Event Management about the operational changes they have seen in the 8 years they have serviced the fiesta, the difficulties in dealing with the weather sensitive headliners and the complexity of ingress and egress for both attendees and balloon crews.
