BCD Meetings & Events brought together more than 20 of its EMEA offices to consolidate and align its future growth plans and to recognise talent within the organisation. Nearly 300 of the team met at Disneyland Paris for the full day conference and evening celebrations.
The business sessions were designed to underline the global organisation’s core values of vision, innovation, service, integrity, teamwork and strength. The event reinforced BCD Meetings & Events brand culture and helped to build inter-company and cross-country relationships and business opportunities.
During the conference, awards which were nominated by clients and peers were given to individuals from across the regions to recognise exceptional service and commercial acumen:
Rising Star Award – a new talent who demonstrated potential within the business.
Winner – Sandra Gerrits, Netherlands – Rijswijk office
Team of the Year Award – either an actual or virtual team that have impressed through the implementation, delivery or management of a project (internal or external).
Winners – The Oslo Team and made up of Kristoffer Knudsen, Diana Ness, Kari Stormyrengen, Verena Dalen, Anne Kristiansen
Team Player Award – in recognition of exceptional support of others within their team.
Winner – Stefanie Eichelberger, Germany – Dusseldorf office.
Account Manager Award –Â someone who has shown dedication and exceptional skill in growing the business.
Winner – Christel Eisenkolb, Belgium – Antwerp office.
Client Choice Award
Winner – Jennifer Roeder, Germany – Frankfurt office.
Most Valuable Support Award – someone who works in a support function and gives exceptional service to their internal customers.
Winner – Mervyn Brouwer, Finance team Based in Netherlands – Utrecht office.
Event Manager Award – an employee consistently delivering outstanding service for their clients.
Winner – Lydia Franken, Belgium – Antwerp office.
Consultant of the Year Award – the operations/travel co-ordinator who has been consistently exceptional in their role.
Winner – Perra Skoog, Sweden – Stockholm office.
