The Association for Women in Events (AWE) has opened 2019 nominations for its Hall of Fame Recognition Program, hosted by the AWE Awards Committee. Now running in its third year, the programme partners with IMEX America, who will sponsor each winner with U.S. flights and accommodation for IMEX America 2019.
The AWE Hall of Fame recognises the advancement of women in events by honouring women and men with a categorical award. Categories for nominations are: Coach, Emerging Leader, Organisational Leadership, Trailblazer and Woman of Influence.
Nominations are now open until 30th June. To nominate a deserving individual (self-nominations are also accepted), a simple online form must be completed, which can be found on the AWE website. Members and non-members in the events, hospitality and tourism industry are eligible. The winners will be announced in July 2019 by the AWE leadership team on Facebook Live. Winners of each respective category will receive the following:
- Lifetime membership of AWE
- Special profile on AWE website
- Opportunity to be panellists and presenters at industry events and AWE events
- Invite to judge future awards
- A certificate and email plate
- IMEX to sponsor each winner with US flights & accommodation for IMEX America 2019
