Global healthcare event management business, Ashfield Meetings & Events (part of UDG Healthcare plc), and sister brand SPARK THINKING, which delivers events outside the healthcare industry, have moved UK offices to accommodate an expanding workforce.

Moving only a few hundred metres away, the Ashfield Meetings & Events and SPARK THINKING teams will now join Ashfield division colleagues at Ashfield House in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, UK – which is actually the same as the company’s registered trading address.

Global MD, Nicola Burns, explained the reason behind the relocation. “As a full-service events agency – delivering everything from logistics, venue sourcing and travel management, to creative, production and exhibits – we’ve seen our business grow and consequently our team expand over the previous few years.

“At Ashfield House, not only do we get a modern, beautifully-designed space more suitable for our creative agency culture, but it will also enable us to collaborate even more successfully with our wider Ashfield colleagues for the benefit of our clients.”

In addition, the Ashfield Meetings & Events and SPARK THINKING teams based in Ivyland, Pennsylvania in the US, have also moved offices to join Ashfield colleagues in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, for very similar reasons – full-service success, continued growth and closer colleague collaboration.

“This is an exciting time as more and more global clients are taking advantage of our full-service capabilities, while also recognising the benefits we bring by being part of a wider division of healthcare support businesses,” added Burns. “Our teams are delighted with the moves and are looking forward to delivering unique and effective meetings and live events from their new homes.”
