AOK Events, one of the UK’s leading corporate event agencies, is celebrating its 25th birthday this year – marking a quarter of a century of creativity, innovation and unforgettable experiences.
Founded in 2000 by Alex Hewitt and Jo Greenstock, AOK Events has grown from a small team with big ambitions into a thriving company of 40 staff. Over the past 25 years, AOK Events has delivered more than 30,000 events for over 2 million guests around the world.
Reflecting on this milestone, CEO and Co-founder Alex Hewitt commented:

Much of AOK Events’ success comes down to its people-first culture. From its earliest days, the business has been built on friendship, creativity and an unwavering commitment to delivering for clients. Early partners such as Simon Hanbury, Andy Fieldhouse and Victoria Sloan helped lay the foundations, while guidance from NEDs Giles Tooseyand Mike Kershaw supported AOK’s growth and evolution. Today, a new generation of leaders – many of whom have dedicated over a decade to the company – continue to drive AOK forward with the same energy and spirit that has defined it from day one.
The team recently came together to celebrate the milestone with an unforgettable 25th birthday party. Organised in secret by members of the team, the celebration began with a drinks reception at The Grove Hotel, where the team also stayed overnight. The evening continued at Nomadic Dinners in the Hertfordshire countryside and featured a roaming band, a delicious locally-sourced feast, fire-throwing performances and dancing into the night. It was a fitting tribute to the creativity, camaraderie and spirit that has defined the company for 25 years.
“Our amazing team – past and present – and our loyal clients and trusted suppliers have been at the heart of everything we do,” added Hewitt. “We are incredibly grateful for their support and friendship over the years. We’ve only just got started.”
The company will continue to mark its 25th anniversary with a series of celebrations and initiatives that reflect its passion for delivering extraordinary experiences.
