Global strategy consultancy, AMR International announces the appointment of Michael Mandl as Principal for its Events Ecosystem and Technology Practice. Based in New York, Michael will play a pivotal role in AMR’s team and will lead its US operations.
For more than 15 years, Michael has held numerous senior executive positions around the world with both Reed Exhibitions and Informa. Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Reed Exhibitions in Brazil and Mexico (LATAM).
In this role, he created the Reed LATAM structure merging Mexico and Brazil business units; grew revenue streams across numerous product and service portfolios; and led the roll-out of several digital transformation initiatives.
“Joining AMR is an exciting opportunity for me. I see this as a career turning point, returning to consulting. I’ll be bringing my broad operating and business development expertise to AMR,” said Michael. “Over the past 15 years, I have known of and worked with AMR on various strategy and acquisitions projects.
