Neptunus has secured a new contract to continue to supply temporary structures to the Affordable Art Fair held each May on London’s Hampstead Heath.

Neptunus has been providing the temporary infrastructure for the popular event since 2013. Following next year’s fair, organisers have agreed a new contract with Neptunus through to 2023.

Elizabeth Dellert, UK fair director, said: “We are delighted to be working with Neptunus as tent contractor for the Affordable Art Fair on Hampstead Heath. Their dedication and professionalism allows us to continue to be one of the only events to be held on the prestigious Hampstead Heath site. The structure itself continues to meet our high-end specifications and perfectly reflects the calibre of our event. They are a wonderful team to work with and we look forward to further collaborations in future.”

April Trasler, MD of Neptunus’ UK operation, commented: “We are delighted to secure this new agreement with the Affordable Art Fair which once again underpins our reputation for creating high quality yet cost-effective space solutions for big cultural occasions.”

Neptunus provides 5,300 square metres of space in three Alu Hall temporary buildings including a main exhibition hall spanning 4,250 metres. Temporary structures form a bespoke front entrance, café area, cloakrooms and administration offices.

The 2019 Fair attracted 16,000 visitors and saw more than 110 galleries from 15 different countries exhibiting affordable contemporary art from both emerging and established artists. The Affordable Art Fair has revolutionised and democratised the art market with its fun and accessible approach, bringing art under £6,000 to London three times a year in Battersea Park and on Hampstead Heath, as well as an online shop.

The Hampstead Heath, London event is just one of the fairs held each year in 10 cities around the world including, New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Hamburg, Brussels, Singapore, Milan, Stockholm and Melbourne.
