The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced the appointment of Emily Deimbacher to the post of marketing and sales executive, who started in her new role on Monday, 16th September, at AEV’s Berkhamsted HQ.

Deimbacher, a recent graduate in Digital Media and Communications from the University of Westminster, joins the AEV secretariat in a dual role, focusing on the development of the marketing and social media campaigns and driving new business leads to the sales team. Deimbacher will also be responsible for the AEV and AEV Conference websites and developing content for member communications.

Rachel Parker welcomed Deimbacher to the association, saying, “Emily clearly has a bright future, and it’s a pleasure to welcome her to the team. Her in-depth understanding of digital media and culture, and her proven abilities in communication, design and research, are precisely the skills required for this role.”

Deimbacher said, “I’m delighted to be joining the AEV because I am excited for the opportunity to develop myself and successfully market AEV further in the industry. I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone and working to develop the social media and digital presence of the association.”
