Experiential design consultancy 2LK sees two new hires as the agency goes from strength to strength in its 25th anniversary year, including the creation of over 30 brand activations at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity earlier this summer.

Senior account manager, Tom Cowan, is based at 2LK’s UK head office in Farnham, Surrey, where he will build on the agency’s expertise in the financial services sector with existing and new clients. He joins from MCI Group, where he was director of client services.

Andy Sexton, 2LK’s partner and creative director, said of Cowan’s appointment: “Having worked with global brands such as BMW, HSBC, Google, Mitsubishi and Quiksilver, Tom is perfectly placed to help us maintain exceptional client servicing during a period of remarkable growth, having had a record turnover last year.

“He has also previously set up and managed his own successful design agency, so brings a wealth of creative industry experience, strategic insights and entrepreneurial spirit to 2LK.”

Over in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, where 60% of 2LK’s clients are based, and where the agency established an office in October 2017, client services manager, Holly Abey, will join later this summer. She will be working with existing Silicon Valley clients as well as supporting the US-based team to develop new client relationships.

Sexton continued: “Holly’s background in advertising and media production is a fantastic fit with 2LK’s fully integrated approach, where we weave multiple design disciplines and digital technology into our work.

“Both Holly and Tom are most welcome additions to deliver 2LK’s effective experiential promise to clients.”
