Digital marketing agency, Mediaworks, has welcomed two experienced additions to its team to help maintain its high level of quality and service. The northeast-based company was recently named in the Econsultancy Top 100 Digital Agencies report and expects the appointments to help continue its progressive growth in the sector.

Chris Coulson, with over 20 years’ experience in marketing, joins as marketing director. He has worked in a wide variety of industries and will provide critical perspectives for our diverse clients.

Chris said: The prospect of joining Mediaworks in this role and to be part of their growth was too big of an opportunity to turn down. To be part of one of the country’s leading digital marketing agencies, working with international clients on cutting edge and innovative campaigns is extremely exciting. The pace of change, partnerships built with clients, and the professionalism of the teams has been fantastic.”

Chris Ham joins as performance marketing director. Having moved to the North East 10 years ago, Chris previously worked at Newcastle University. He was involved with finance, e-commerce management, and database implementation.

He said: “In my first week it was great to be involved in award nominations in Newcastle, London, and New York. I’ve been part of extremely interesting meetings with Google and Microsoft on their developments and understanding some of the innovative projects being delivered for clients, helping them save costs through technological innovations and grow our client’s revenue through optimising their online presence.”

Brett Jacobson, managing director of Mediaworks, commented: “It’s extremely important to invest in and support the development of our team with experienced professionals to keep up with the growth of our business. I’m excited to build towards our future by adding to our existing strong skillset here at Mediaworks.”
