ICC Belfast, Northern Ireland’s only purpose-built international convention centre, boasts over 7,000sqm event space and 20 years’ experience in delivering national and international events for Association and Corporate clients including The Royal College of Nurses and AstraZeneca. When faced with a global pandemic and the choice of fighting or freezing, the team explored how they could continue creating emotional connections, not just another conference with clients in a new light.

The venue’s latest solution, a purpose-built Hybrid Studio has been perfect for virtual conferences, product launches and award ceremonies. Offering the flexibility for clients and their sponsors to communicate key messages via a fully customisable platform that can be branded, engagement and interaction can be facilitated and measured too. Polls, Q&A sessions and on demand content are available to delegates. This meant while people stayed safe by staying apart, a sense of belonging was maintained through live hybrid events. A dedicated in-house technical production team ensures that events are taken to the next level. Whether it’s a sense of thrill or having confidence in the future, through the clever use of  LED stage lighting, PA system, 4K broadcast camera and radio microphones, ICC Belfast can bring any atmosphere to life.

Looking to the future, ICC Belfast remains committed to making ongoing investments in people, technology and infrastructure to ensure Belfast retains its status as a unique, vibrant and flourishing business events destination and economic impact is delivered for years to come.
