Your role and responsibilities will be to support the Project Managers in the delivery of technical services to our customers through detailed planning and execution for both live events and permanent installations.  In delivering this the successful candidate will also be required to deliver some tech support to ongoing clients, warehouse prep and maintenance as well as a passion for developing their skills in design and implementation of AV solutions.

As the candidate excels in their role, there will be early opportunities for progression further up the business ladder in the operations team.  For the right candidate the role has exciting career prospect as your experience grows.

Job Title: Junior Projects Technician

Position reports to: Technical Manager

Job Purpose: Working as part of the operations team you will contribute to the smooth delivery of the company’s installation and live event projects.

This role is for aspiring project managers who are looking for a career in the audio visual industry with great prospects. We are looking for the strongest, most enthusiastic candidates to fit in with our highly motivated team.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Designing and specifying simple AV solutions under supervision.
  2. Delivering and resourcing AV projects to the highest standards whilst maintaining a strong handle on budgets.
  3. Installing equipment onsite as per the brief from the project manager
  4. Operating equipment onsite, overseeing the build / breakdown of small projects.
  5. Communicating with clients regarding project information in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Support the sales team in specifying appropriate AV solutions.
  7. Performing warehouse duties such as:
    A. Processing Goods In / Out
    B. Annual inspections (PAT / LOLER, etc.)
    C. Reporting and handling stock shortages
    D. Monitoring the condition of our equipment inventory and facilitating economical repairs where applicable.
  8. Any other duties as required

Salary: £21-23k per annum.

Job type: Full Time (40 hours per week + Overtime)
