The Scottish Event Campus is Scotland’s premier events venue, with over 22,000sqm of infinitely flexible exhibition, conference and live entertainment space. The SEC is just a five minute taxi from the centre of Glasgow, Scotland’s culture and commerce capital and consists of three main spaces; the SEC Centre, the SEC Armadillo and The SSE Hydro.
Event spaces include 20 meeting rooms and five exhibition halls. The latest addition to the SEC comes in the form of the SEC Meeting Academy – a multi-purpose space which replaces a former restaurant. The new offering means that organisers of all kinds of events have an additional hospitality, meeting or VIP option.
Clients can also take advantage of the whole 64-acre site for their event – there’s plenty of outdoor space for marquees, food festivals and even racetracks. The SEC is purpose built for all kinds of events.
The Campus also hosts large international conferences, small corporate meetings and everything in between. The world-class facilities match the world-class teams within the venue who, in the form of a dedicated event team, can bring clients’ events to life.
The teams include an expert in house marketing team, who can provide unique access to city bodies including Glasgow Life, Glasgow City Council and Visit Scotland.
External facilities include over 1,000 hotel rooms, an on-site train station, plentiful parking and a short walk to one of the hippest areas to live in the UK – Finnieston, where you’ll find over 40 bars and restaurants to choose from.
The latest addition to the campus is the Clydeside Distillery – a refurbishment of a former pumphouse which has brought distilling back to the region. It offers additional hospitality options to clients, for up to 200 people and adds to the cultural experience of visitors.
