East Wintergarden, an event venue in the heart of Canary Wharf, boasts a spectacular 27m high glass-covered atrium based on the world-famous Wintergarden in New Yorks’ Battery Park. The venue retains a distinctive character whilst being part of the wider Canary Wharf Group, with guests benefitting from the Groups’ consumer Arts and Events programme for post-events entertainment in the area.
The Main Hall is clad with steamed beech wooden wall panelling and features 682m² of uninterrupted Italian marble floorspace which effortlessly hosts up to 500 banqueting guests or 800 – 1,000 guests for standing receptions. The elegant and light atmosphere from the glass roof provides an adaptable space and can be transformed to host exhibitions, award ceremonies, experiential product launches, drinks receptions as well as being used as a filming location. The venue’s floor capacity and weight loading capabilities enable organisers to showcase cars/vans/tractors and even boats within its interior.
The Promenade Room is a versatile space adjacent to The Main Hall and overlooks Canary Wharf’s dockside, proving most popular for workshop sessions, press conferences, meetings and small presentations. Not limited to daytime use, this space when used in conjunction with The Main Hall complements as a break-out space, performer dressing room, speaker green room or organiser’s office.
The Gallery, a mezzanine level suspended above The Main Hall, can be hired independently offering an alternative choice for smaller, intimate events whilst still being immersed in the striking architecture and overlooking the capitals’ Jubilee Park, all combining to create a ‘wow factor’ without large guest numbers.
The venue offers state of the art AV technology, exclusive catering partnership with Create Food teamed with impeccable customer service from a dedicated team in-house team.
