Central Hall Westminster played host to three special episodes of The Late Late Show with James Corden when the hit US TV chat show came to London on 6th, 7th and 8th June.

It was the first international trip for the show and was aired to viewers on Sky 1 and NOW TV in the UK and viewers on CBS in the USA.

Filming of the late-night talk show, hosted by British actor James Corden, took place in the central London venue’s historic Great Hall in front of a live audience of over 600 people per night. The musical and comedy segments of the recorded shows were given a British twist with James Corden describing coming to London for the show as a dream come true. Guests appearing on the show included David Beckham, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Anthony Joshua and Emily Blunt. Taking the hot seat with James for the famous Carpool Karaoke was Ed Sheeran.

Harry Styles was filmed performing on Central Hall’s balcony with its magnificent views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament as a backdrop.

Paul Southern, Managing Director of Central Hall, commented: “The versatility and size of our venue lends itself to high profile televised shows and we have hosted plenty of these over the years, but we were particularly excited about welcoming The Late Late Show for three consecutive days. We were extremely proud to be hosting James Corden and his team here at Central Hall. The fact that he brought his show home to London for the first time and that they chose our iconic venue to hold the event, made it that extra bit special.”
